基町プロジェクトは、平成26年度より、創造的な文化芸術活動を通じて、まちの魅力づくりや基町地区の活性化を目的に様々な取組を行っています。 これまでに複数の空き店舗を整備し、地域住民の方や学生が展示やイベントなどを行う場所として利活用することで、交流やにぎわいを創出してきました。 この度、17号棟の空き店舗について、新たに整備を行い活用することで、更なる基町地区の魅力づくりや活性化を促進したいと考えています。

Since fiscal year 2014, the Motomachi Project has been undertaking a variety of initiatives aimed at creating a town attraction and revitalizing the Motomachi area through creative cultural and artistic activities.

So far, several vacant storefronts have been developed and utilized by local residents and students as places to hold exhibitions and events, creating interaction and liveliness.

Now, we would like to further promote the attraction and revitalization of the Motomachi district by newly developing and utilizing the vacant storefronts in Building No. 17.

活用の内容

開かれた明るく開放的な空間として整備し、地域住民を中心に、気軽に立ち寄り、交流できる場所とする。整備の段階から、地域住民や基町に興味のある若者・学生に参加してもらい、自らの手で地域の魅力を作り上げていく機会とする。特に、特例的入居者に積極的に参加してもらい、地域活動への参加のきっかけにしたい。

The space will be open, bright, and open, and will be a place where local residents can casually drop in and interact with each other. From the development stage, we would like to provide an opportunity for local residents, young people and students interested in Motomachi to participate and create their own local attractions. In particular, we would like to encourage the active participation of special residents and provide them with an opportunity to participate in community activities.
